یدالله رضوانی در ده سال گذشته به طراحی وساخت زیورهایی از سنگ و نقره پرداخته که در نمایشگاه های سالیانه اش، شاهد تکامل کار وی بوده ایم. این هنرمند مبتکر و اندیشمند، که دارای سابقه تحصیلات فوق لیسانس الکترونیک است و 57 سال دارد، از کودکی به هنر علاقمند بوده و در جوانی نمایشگاه های نقاشی انفرادای زیادی در ایران و سپس در اروپا برپا کرده است. تحقیقات و مطالعات وی در زمینه هنر و اندیشه به ویژه جواهرات ایران زمین- از پیش از تاریخ تا کنون- پشتوانه طرح های خلاق و منحصر به فرد زیورهایی است که با شیوه های ابداعی و مشابه روشهای باستانی می سازد. تصویر نمونه هایی از نتایج تلاش پی گیر وی برای خلق آثار امروزی، با اتکا به گذشته هفت هزار ساله اش، دراین مجموعه آمده است.

Biography: Yadollah RezvaniYadollah Rezvani was born in Tehran in 1948 where he has lived until today. Rezvani has done extensive research on ancient and modern Iranian jewelry. He is highly influenced by old Iranian forms and designs and he uses the techniques of the ancient masters to make his pieces which are engraved but never welded, a method used in various Iranian civilizations throughout history. Many of his designs are modernized variations of the designs of the Medes and the Achaemenians who lived in Lorestan, a province in western Iran, as far back as twelve hundred years before Christ. Inspired by ancient Persian inscriptions, medallions, charms and earthenware he tries to get as close as possible to a pure form of decorative art. What inspires Rezvani most is the technique of the work. He believes that in using ancient and traditional techniques one feels more magic in each individual piece and this is what adds depth to the work. In spite of this Rezvani's necklaces are highly post modern. To his friends he is 'a dervish seeking the essence of all beauty through ornamentation.' |
